About the company: We're a content agency specializing in podcasts, YouTube, and written content for real estate investing and personal finance audiences. Our work is distributed across Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, and we're looking for a writer who understands that good copy isn't just accurate—it drives clicks, watch time, and audience growth.


About the role: You'll receive produced episodes on an ongoing basis and deliver:

• Show notes — 2–3 paragraphs that clearly communicate what listeners will learn
• Multiple title options — We test these against performance data, so volume and variety matter
• Timestamped YouTube chapters
• YouTube descriptions — Optimized for search and discoverability
• Thumbnail concept briefs — Written direction for our design team (hook, text overlay ideas, visual concept)
• Internal links — Woven naturally throughout show notes and descriptions as part of a basic SEO strategy

YouTube growth is a priority for this role. If you have a track record of improving click-through rates, growing subscribers, or optimizing content for YouTube search, we want to hear about it.

As the role develops, you'll likely take on additional work including podcast outlines and scripting, and written content briefs—structured strategic briefs for blogs and articles to be executed by other writers. All work stays within the real estate and investing vertical.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years in professional copywriting, content strategy, or equivalent experience
• Strong copywriting instincts, especially for headlines and titles
• A sharp eye for brand voice consistency—you'll be writing across multiple shows and the voice needs to stay tight
• Working knowledge of SEO—keyword research, when to use them, and when not to force them
• Familiarity with what makes a title clickable without being bait-y—we hold a high bar here
• Understanding of niche real estate and finance audiences
• Meticulous attention to detail—error-free copy is non-negotiable
• Ability to deliver clean, polished work independently without heavy back-and-forth

Nice to Have 

• Experience with YouTube title or thumbnail A/B testing
• Data or examples showing YouTube or podcast growth you've contributed to
• Background in real estate, investing, or personal finance content
