About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in Excel, VBA, and Office Scripts to support data analysis, reporting, and automation initiatives.
This role is heavily focused on building and optimizing data workflows within Excel, creating automated reporting solutions, and improving operational efficiency through scripting and process automation.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working deeply with data, building systems, and finding ways to eliminate manual work through smart automation.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
- Build and maintain detailed reports and dashboards in Excel
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs
- Develop advanced Excel models using formulas, pivot tables, and structured data
- Write and maintain VBA scripts to automate repetitive tasks and workflows
- Build Office Scripts to streamline processes within Excel Online
- Continuously improve existing tools for performance, scalability, and usability
- Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and propose automation solutions
- Design and implement systems to reduce manual data handling
- Improve reporting speed, accuracy, and accessibility
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align automation with business needs
- Clean, organize, and structure data from multiple sources
- Ensure proper documentation and version control of data processes
- Maintain data integrity and troubleshoot inconsistencies
- Work closely with operations and leadership teams to understand data needs
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively
- Support ad hoc data requests and business analysis needs
- 2–8 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or similar roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
- Strong experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
- Experience building and maintaining Office Scripts
- Proven ability to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Microsoft Excel (advanced level – formulas, pivot tables, data modeling)
- VBA (required)
- Office Scripts (required)
- Data cleaning and transformation techniques
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices
- Comfortable working with large datasets
Nice to Have
