Role: Executive Assistant
Priority Location: South Africa
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri) EST
Salary Range: $1,700 - $2,200 USD ($) per month, up to $4,000/month for exceptional C-suite experience
(The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)

About the Role:
The Executive Assistant will serve as a strategic partner to the founder and leadership team, helping manage priorities, communications, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
This is a true Executive Assistant role rather than an administrative support position. The successful candidate will be expected to operate with a high degree of discretion, professionalism, and autonomy while acting as an extension of the executive they support.
The role requires someone who can manage confidential information, anticipate needs, maintain organization amidst competing priorities, and communicate on behalf of leadership when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, schedule all meetings, and plan out the weeks ahead to keep things on track.
- Filter, prioritize, and reply to emails on behalf of leadership.
- Coordinate agendas, follow-up tasks, conference logistics, and team retreats.
- Protect executive time and build systems that make the office run more efficiently.
- Help run basic payroll, track PTO, and onboard new hires into the system.
- Monitor company priorities and ensure deadlines are met with full confidentiality.
- Recruit and schedule podcast guests, post to social media, and archive written
- content.
- Handle family scheduling, including kids' camps, medical appointments, and holiday cards/gifts.
Required Qualification & Skills:
- Previous Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives or founders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience managing complex calendars and inboxes
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable handling confidential information
