The Paraplanner provides critical operational and planning support to U.S.-based financial advisors. This role is ideal for experienced paraplanners or planning support specialists with extensive knowledge of U.S. financial statements, planning workflows, and advisor support processes.
You will work across platforms such as eMoney, Nitrogen, HubSpot/Salesforce, and secure remote desktop systems. The Paraplanner ensures client files, data, and documents are accurate, organized, and meeting-ready at all times.
This role suits candidates who excel in detail-oriented work and have a deep understanding of U.S. financial terminology and planning workflows.
Responsibilities

- →Maintain accurate, compliant client and prospect data across financial planning and CRM systems (eMoney, Black Diamond, Nitrogen, HubSpot, Salesforce).
- →Organize financial documents, update account and demographic information, and ensure all files meet security and accuracy standards.
- →Record meeting notes, prepare follow-up tasks, and generate paperwork (including DocuSign forms) to support smooth client operations.
Meeting Preparation & Planning Support
- →Prepare meeting-ready summaries, agendas, and briefing packets by updating financial data, identifying key changes, and flagging planning gaps, risks, and opportunities.
- →Ensure all pre-meeting workflows—including client updates, plan inputs, portfolio checks, and required documents—are complete and accurate.
Financial Plan & Scenario Development
- →Build and maintain financial plans in eMoney, updating assumptions and running scenario models (retirement timing, Social Security strategies, spending changes, etc.).
- →Ensure all plans meet standards and are ready for advisor review.
Portfolio, Risk & Tax Analysis
- →Perform portfolio diagnostics, assessing allocation, drift, concentration risk, and portfolio accuracy; prepare portfolio review summaries.
- →Manage risk assessments, identifying alignment issues between client profiles and investment strategies.
- →Upload and interpret tax returns, summarizing opportunities such as Roth conversions, capital gains considerations, and bracket management strategies.
Prospect & Proposal Preparation
- →Support prospect meetings by preparing draft plans, proposal packages, illustrations, and visuals, completing initial planning and data intake.
- →Ensure prospect workflows are executed efficiently to support business development.
Research, Quality Control & Workflow Optimization
- →Conduct research on financial planning strategies, investment options, and technical topics to support advisor recommendations.
- →Maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all planning deliverables and CRM records.
- →Contribute to ongoing improvement and standardization of planning processes and advisor workflows.
Requirements

- 10+ years of paraplanning or financial planning support experience with U.S.-based advisory firms (RIA, broker-dealer, independent advisors).
- Extensive experience reviewing and handling U.S. financial documents (investment statements, annuity contracts, 401(k)/IRA statements, insurance policies).
- Advanced understanding of U.S. financial terminology and planning concepts.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Exceptional data-entry accuracy and organizational ability.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft/Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently in a structured, process-driven remote environment.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with eMoney, Nitrogen, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting U.S. advisors in an offshore environment.
- A “batteries-included” mindset — resourceful, proactive, and able to self-onboard.
- Familiarity with secure remote access environments (Datto, Citrix, etc.).
