About the Role

~1 min read

We are seeking a Project Architect (Job Captain) to lead the technical development and coordination of architectural documentation for U.S.-based projects.

This is a hands-on, production-focused role where you will own the creation and coordination of construction documents, ensuring accuracy, code compliance, and readiness for permitting and construction.

You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, and the Architect of Record (AOR) to translate design intent into clear, coordinated, and permit-ready drawing sets.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable taking ownership of project documentation from concept through permit.

  • Lead the development of architectural construction documents from early design through permitting
  • Produce high-quality, coordinated drawing sets using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with project scope, design intent, and technical standards
  • Maintain consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all drawing packages

  • Ensure all documents comply with:
    • U.S. building codes (IBC)
    • Accessibility standards (ADA)
    • Local zoning and jurisdictional requirements
  • Prepare deliverables for permit submission, bidding, and approvals
  • Coordinate closely with the Architect of Record (AOR) to support final reviews and stamping

  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders
  • Integrate architectural, structural, MEP, and site requirements into cohesive drawing sets
  • Identify and resolve design conflicts or gaps early in the process
  • Maintain alignment across all disciplines throughout project development

  • Apply and maintain strong BIM workflows and coordination practices
  • Contribute to internal standards, templates, and documentation best practices
  • Ensure models and drawings are organized, efficient, and scalable

Requirements

~1 min read
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 5+ years of experience working on U.S.-based projects
  • Proven experience producing construction documents (required)
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required)
  • Deep understanding of BIM workflows and coordination
  • Solid knowledge of:
    • U.S. building codes (IBC)
    • ADA compliance
    • Zoning and permitting processes
  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher

Nice to Have

~1 min read
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Familiarity with early-stage development (feasibility, entitlements, pre-construction)
  • Experience coordinating directly with AORs and consultants

  • Construction documents are accurate, complete, and permit-ready with minimal revisions
  • Code compliance is proactively addressed—not reactive
  • Coordination across disciplines is seamless and efficient
  • Drawings are clear, organized, and easy for contractors and reviewers to interpret
  • Projects move through permitting without unnecessary delays

  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong technical mindset
  • Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of outcomes
  • Strong communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
