Software Dev Engineer - Go / Golang experience is a must

Role Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Software Dev Engineer to join the SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge (CSE) team. In this role, you will contribute to building a cloud-native Security Service Edge (SSE) platform that enables secure, Zero Trust access to applications, SaaS, and enterprise resources from any device, anywhere. 

You will work on a modern distributed platform that delivers capabilities such as Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), secure web gateway, and VPN-as-a-Service, helping organizations transition from legacy VPNs to scalable, cloud-delivered security solutions. 

What You’ll Do 

• Build scalable services and high-performance APIs
• Own features from design to deployment.
• Contribute to distributed system design.
• Debug production issues and improve reliability.
• Collaborate across engineering teams 

What You’ll Bring 

• 3+ years experience with Go, Rust, C or C++ .
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, file systems, and databases.
• Experience in building APIs and backend systems.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems basics.
• Exposure to cloud and microservices architectures.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS) 
• Awareness of security concepts such as authentication, access control, and Zero Trust basics (ZTNA / SSE)
• Effective use of AI tools for productivity and debugging.
