Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Dev Engineer to join the SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge (CSE) team. In this role, you will contribute to building a cloud-native Security Service Edge (SSE) platform that enables secure, Zero Trust access to applications, SaaS, and enterprise resources from any device, anywhere.
You will work on a modern distributed platform that delivers capabilities such as Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), secure web gateway, and VPN-as-a-Service, helping organizations transition from legacy VPNs to scalable, cloud-delivered security solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Build scalable services and high-performance APIs
- Own features from design to deployment.
- Contribute to distributed system design.
- Debug production issues and improve reliability.
- Collaborate across engineering teams
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years experience with Go, Rust, C or C++ .
- Strong knowledge of concurrency, file systems, and databases.
- Experience in building APIs and backend systems.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems.
- Understanding of distributed systems basics.
- Exposure to cloud and microservices architectures.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS)
- Awareness of security concepts such as authentication, access control, and Zero Trust basics (ZTNA / SSE)
- Effective use of AI tools for productivity and debugging.
