The A&R (Artists & Repertoire) department is responsible for the management, coordination, and execution of artistic projects within the company’s roster, working strategically alongside internal teams, management offices, and artists to drive the growth of careers and repertoires. The team plays a central role in shaping the company’s portfolio by monitoring cultural trends, identifying market opportunities, and overseeing artistic projects from conception through release.

We are looking for an A&R Specialist with a highly organized profile, strong relationship-building skills, a collaborative mindset, and solid knowledge of the music industry to support the artistic and operational management of the company’s projects and releases.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the artistic and operational development of projects within the company’s roster, contributing references, cross-team alignment, and workflow organization;
  • Coordinate projects and releases with internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment between strategy, timelines, and deliverables;
  • Work closely and collaboratively with artists, managers, producers, and songwriters, building long-term relationships;
  • Support negotiation processes, approvals, and contractual workflows in partnership with internal departments;
  • Participate in the artistic and operational planning of releases, aligning strategy, market positioning, and deliverables across involved teams;
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Digital, Commercial, BI, Legal, and Finance teams in the development and execution of projects;
  • Monitor cultural trends, consumer behavior, and movements within the recorded music industry to identify opportunities;
  • Contribute creative references, organize materials, and support repertoire development, collaborations, and release strategies;
  • Manage timelines, approvals, clearances, and workflows related to the projects under your responsibility;
  • Contribute to the organization of processes and project tracking within the A&R team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Law, Production Engineering, Music, or related fields;
  • Advanced English proficiency;
  • Availability for external meetings and appointments;
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills;
  • Strategic market vision and ability to identify cultural and digital trends;
  • Familiarity with streaming platforms, analytics, consumption data, and artist performance metrics;
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid experience in A&R, artist management, record labels, music distributors, or artist management companies;
  • Experience overseeing music projects, releases, and A&R routines;
  • Strong network within the music industry, including artists, managers, producers, songwriters, and strategic partners;
  • Experience with contract negotiations, project structuring, and release management;
  • In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian recorded music industry and digital consumption dynamics;
  • Affinity with popular music genres and contemporary cultural trends.
