Responsibilities

→Transport people in a shuttle between locations
→Safely load and unload cargo as needed
→Responsible for ensuring shuttle contents are secured for safe and undamaged delivery to destination
→Avoiding high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible
→Monitor service records of the vehicle when driving and report all problems to manager immediately
→Responsible for the cleanliness of vehicle and refueling/recharging when low
→In case of emergency contact immediate supervisor and provide detailed information to remedy issue

This is a temporary position with SpaceX, for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate.

LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months (permanent hire conversion based on performance and business need)
LOCATION: Redmond/Woodinville, WA
SHIFT: 1st shift (9:00am-7:00pm)

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency certificate
2+ years of professional experience driving people in a commercial setting OR 6+ months of contracting driving experience at SpaceX
Class B CDL passenger endorsement

10+ years of professional driving experience
Professional experience driving people
Outstanding knowledge of applicable transport and safety codes
Experience with route planning
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong customer-service background

Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
Ability to work all required hours, weekends and off-shifts with minimal notice. Estimated shift time: 9:00AM – 7:00PM

What We Offer

Pay range:
Driver/Level 1: $22.50
Driver/Level 2: $23.50
Driver/Level 3: $24.50

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for potential discretionary bonuses. You will also be eligible for 10 or more paid holidays per year. Non-exempt Washington employees are eligible for sick leave in accordance with Washington's Sick Leave policies.
