Objective of the Role
The Senior Observability Engineer is responsible for providing expert-level guidance and advanced
consulting on the design, implementation, and optimization of the company's observability solutions. This
role focuses on ensuring comprehensive visibility, monitoring, and performance of the company's IT
infrastructure and applications, contributing to the overall success of IT operations and strategic initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
1. Expert Consulting: Provide expert-level guidance on the design and architecture of observability
solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.
2. Advanced Implementation: Lead the implementation of advanced observability tools and
platforms, including monitoring, logging, and tracing systems.
3. Performance Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and
efficiency of observability solutions.
4. Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze complex observability data to identify trends, anomalies, and
potential issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve system
performance.
5. Incident Management: Act as a key resource in incident response activities related to
observability, diagnosing and resolving issues, and conducting thorough post-incident reviews.
6. Documentation: Ensure high standards for accurate and comprehensive documentation of
observability configurations, processes, and procedures.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to support observability projects
and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
8. Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train junior engineers and other team members, sharing
expertise and promoting best practices in observability.
9. Security and Compliance: Develop and enforce security measures to protect observability data
and ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
10. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, exploring and implementing
new technologies and methodologies to enhance observability.
11. Innovation and Strategy: Contribute to the development of the observability strategy, identifying
opportunities for innovation and improvement.
12. Autonomous Work Culture: Foster an autonomous work culture by encouraging initiative,
selfmotivation, and collaboration in an agile and lean environment.

Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent
work experience.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in observability or related fields.
- Advance knowledge of java, nodejs, .net
- Advance knowledge of scripting: bash y python
- Deep understanding of observability concepts, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
- Proficiency with advanced observability tools and platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- English Level: Intermediate
