SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking our first Speech-Language Pathologist to help establish and grow an adult neuro-focused Speech Therapy program within a well-established multidisciplinary rehabilitation organization.
With established Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy programs already in place, SportsMed is well-positioned to support the growth of Speech Therapy services through existing referral relationships and interdisciplinary care opportunities.
If you've ever wanted the opportunity to build something from the ground up, not just inherit a caseload, this role was designed for you.
✔ Be the first SLP at SportsMed Physical Therapy
✔ Build and shape a new service line within an established and growing organization
✔ Work alongside Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists in a collaborative rehabilitation environment
✔ Develop an adult neuro-focused program serving patients with stroke, Parkinson's disease, concussion/TBI, cognitive-communication disorders, and dysphagia
✔ Help create new referral pathways, clinical workflows, and best practices for Speech-Language Pathology services
✔ Play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, and mentoring future SLPs as the department grows
✔ Clear path toward future leadership responsibilities
As SportsMed's first Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll have the rare opportunity to combine clinical care with program development.
Initially, you'll focus on building and managing a full-time adult caseload while collaborating closely with our Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy teams.
As the program grows, you'll help shape the future of Speech-Language Pathology at SportsMed by contributing to hiring decisions, mentoring future clinicians, and helping expand services throughout the organization.
We're looking for someone who enjoys patient care but is equally excited by the opportunity to create, lead, and grow something meaningful.
You will primarily work with adult patients experiencing:
