We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Registered Children’s Nurse to join our Children & Young Peoples department on a permanent contract. The role is for 37.5hrs per week covering a mix of early and late shifts Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Delivering excellent post-surgical care to paediatric patients
- →Assisting in clinics, minor operations and recovery
- →Assist in the delivery of family centred care to meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients.
- →Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- →Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
- →Promotes best Practise in Health and Safety, security, and safeguarding the welfare of children.
- Be NMC registered Nurse with a Children’s qualification - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
- Previous experience within a surgical setting would be advantageous
- Safeguarding Children and Young People training level 3
- EPALS / Pils or equivalent desirable
- Have an ability to transfer skills through a variety of clinical areas
