The Facility Services Manager (FSM) oversees the day-to-day operations of facility and workplace services across one or more client sites. This role serves as the primary client contact and is responsible for service delivery, team leadership, vendor management, financial oversight, and ensuring compliance with SPS policies and safety standards.

The FSM is committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional work environment for both clients and SPS employees.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily facility operations, including building maintenance, custodial services, and workplace support.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Manage, coach, and develop onsite staff and supervisors.
  • Coordinate staffing and ensure appropriate coverage for business needs.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Manage budgets, labor costs, forecasting, payroll, billing, and site profitability.
  • Track and report KPIs and SLAs, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate special projects, office moves, and workplace initiatives.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate incidents as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with SPS policies, OSHA requirements, and security procedures.
  • Participate in client business reviews and support business growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of operations, client service, or facilities management experience.
  • 3+ years of facilities or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Previous experience leading teams in a client-facing environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and reporting tools.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to operate office and facility equipment.

Local travel of up to 25% may be required.
