We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector with previous experience in performing detailed inspections, including first article inspections, receiving inspections, and root cause/corrective actions. This role requires proficiency in measurement tools, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry and customer specifications.
  • Provide detailed in-process and end-of-line inspections on flight hardware. 
  • Document anomalies in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes. 
  • Communicate and help resolve quality related issues as they relate to the site. 
  • Process non-conforming products and assist engineering in root cause analysis and corrective action if asked. 
  • Routinely observe technical operations and offer guidance and/or serve as an additional technical resource. 
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment. 
  • 8+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in validating dimensions (total tolerances >/=.005” with minimal GD&T validation)
  • Experienced with standard hand tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
  • Knowledgeable in the use of computers and/or tablets
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to deescalate workplace conflicts effectively
  • Adaptable to diverse environments and teams within supplier operations
  • Experienced in handling specific commodities related to parts inspection
