We are seeking a detail-oriented Welding Inspector to ensure the quality, compliance, and integrity of welded components and assemblies. This role is responsible for performing inspections, verifying documentation, and ensuring all materials and workmanship meet applicable standards, drawings, and specifications. This position with be on site 5 days a week, for 4-8 hours a day. This is a 3-6 month contract. 
  • Inspect welds to verify correct weld size and conformance to specifications
  • Perform visual inspections to assess weld quality and identify defects
  • Collect and record Critical-to-Function (CTF) measurements per engineering drawings
  • Conduct overall visual inspections for damage, corrosion, or rust
  • Verify cleanliness of pipe interiors (ensure no debris present)
  • Confirm correct parts are used according to the Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Verify Bill of Lading (BOL) accuracy, including quantities and part numbers (GPNs)
  • Ensure proper installation and coverage of OQC pipe protection materials
  • Inspect valves for any signs of damage, deformation, or bending
  • Review and verify Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) documentation for compliance
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, inspection techniques, and quality standards
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, BOMs, and inspection documentation
  • Experience with NDT methods and documentation review
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately document and report inspection results
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and/or welding inspection
    OR
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding inspection with ASME certification
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or piping systems inspection
