Quality Inspector - Mechanical - Level II (Contract)

We are currently seeking a Quality Mechanical Inspector for an immediate opening in Miami, FL. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, working second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Full-Time. Overtime is available as needed 

Perform detailed mechanical inspections on parts, components, and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Inspect components for defects such as damage, corrosion, burrs, dents, and other nonconformities.

Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, including GD&T, to ensure part accuracy and conformance.

Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with company and customer requirements.

Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation in a timely manner.

Review and verify quality documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with purchase order (PO) requirements.

Documentation may include data sheets called out on the PO, material certifications, Certificates of Conformance (COCs), First Article Inspection Reports (FAIs), and related quality records.

Training will be provided to support understanding and execution of documentation review processes.
