- Location: Lisbon, Portugal
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract Type: Direct employment
In this role, you will be responsible for the governance, quality, and maintenance of financial data within SAP and related systems, ensuring accurate, consistent, and compliant financial information across the enterprise. You will work closely with Finance, IT, and data stakeholders to support SAP initiatives, master data processes, and continuous data quality improvements.
- Support MDM and SAP system upgrades, data migrations, and integration initiatives related to financial data.
- Monitor financial data quality, perform root‑cause analyses, and drive remediation actions.
- Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Manage financial data requests, changes, and periodic maintenance activities.
- Provide guidance on data‑related issues, resolve conflicts, and enforce adherence to data governance policies.
- Track, analyze, and report on key data quality metrics for financial data.
- Stay up to date with data governance, SAP, and financial reporting best practices.
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in data quality management or data maintenance roles, ideally with a focus on financial data.
- Solid understanding of financial data and its role in reporting, compliance, and analysis.
- Familiarity with financial systems and data management practices, particularly SAP FI‑CO.
- Knowledge of data standards, data governance principles, data quality practices, and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and international stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
