Power Systems Applications Engineer (ID:3296)

Power Systems Applications Engineer, you will: Lead the customization, implementation and delivery of Advanced Energy Management System (AEMS) applications for transmission networks. Work on Power System Analysis functions such as Load Flow, Contingency Analysis, and Power Factor calculations. Collaborate with Electric Utilities, ISOs and TSOs to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions. Develop, enhance, test and integrate Power System applications, ensuring robust performance and reliability. Engage directly with customers to troubleshoot issues, provide technical support and ensure seamless solution delivery. Adhere to change management and compliance processes while coordinating customer calls, implementation reviews and system updates. What You Bring to the Table: 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and customizing Energy Management Systems (EMS/AEMS), preferably including advanced transmission applications. Strong understanding of Power System Analysis techniques and transmission network behavior. 5+ years of experience in C++ and/or Java development for application software. Solid working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments. Experience working with Electric Utilities, ISOs, or TSOs is highly desirable. You should possess the ability to: Analyze customer needs and propose technically sound power systems application solutions. Design and implement efficient, scalable and reliable application modules. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across engineering and customer teams. Debug and optimize application performance to meet operational requirements. Work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
