At the Distribution Center, we keep a vast array of Starbucks products flowing from suppliers to customers across the globe. This important work happens in an environment that values safety, teamwork, diversity & inclusion, and shared success.
As a quality assurance coordinator, you will:
* Coordinate routine projects that support department or functional initiatives
* Proofread functionally specific materials for accuracy including copy, grammar and layout
* Prepare charts, tables, graphs and other presentation materials to support functional work
* Support the implementation of processes to improve workflow, organization and communication
* Provide calendar support to one or more leaders and/or a team
* Provide support for meetings, training, seminars and activities for department
* Serves as a point of contact for departmental inquiries and responds or escalates as appropriate Assist with on boarding of new partners
* Perform administrative tasks or projects such as tracking budgets, invoice coding, tracking travel expenses, generating reports and identifying variances, updating databases, etc
* Manage large mailings or distribution of materials
* Schedule or coordinate business travel as needed
* Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
* Sort and distribute mail
* Order and replenish department/team supplies
* Maintain regular and punctual attendance
We’d love to hear from people with:
* High school diploma/GED, US military service or equivalent
* Ability to perform administrative assistant or coordinator job functions (1 year)
* Ability to provide general administrative support to others (6 months)
* Availability to work fixed hours in an office environment
* Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross
* functional projects and activities
* Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Ability to make recommendations on changes in approach, concepts and the design of solutions as a team member
* Ability to build relationships
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
* Attention to detail

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
