This role is a senior enterprise leadership position at the heart of Starbucks global coffee organization. As Senior Manager, International Coffee Portfolio and Engagement, you serve as the integrative force connecting coffee integrity, global scale, and market execution across Core and Reserve coffees. You set the conditions for international markets to win by translating complexity into clarity and by bringing confidence and consistency to how Starbucks coffee shows up around the world, while protecting the craft, quality, and standards that define the brand. You bring credibility, presence, and seasoned judgment, and you influence at senior levels without relying on formal authority. With systems-level thinking and strong enterprise influence, you balance deep care for craft and standards with a pragmatic, decisive, outcome-driven approach.
As a senior manager, International Coffee Catalog, you will lead..
* As the single global integrator and front door for international coffee portfolio work across all international business units
* Own the International view of the rolling 24-month coffee roadmap, guiding opt-in and opt-out decisions for global coffees
* Coordinate annual and/or seasonal global coffee moments to ensure markets launch with alignment, clarity, and confidence
* Navigate enterprise coffee catalog decisions through quality guardrails, sourcing realities, and manufacturing constraints
* Maintain coherence across packaging, digital, and in-store coffee expression
* Act as global integrator for International Reserve and Core packaging content and partner with Creative Studio, Coffee Development & Regional teams to deliver technically accurate, emotionally resonant coffee stories; drive International coffee content against global standards while enabling market-appropriate expression
* Lead International coffee commercialization from brief through launch, aligning SKU creation, launch readiness, and manufacturing feasibility across regions
* Act as escalation point where priorities conflict, bringing decisive, enterprise-minded judgment
We’d love to hear from people with:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* 7–10+ years leading complex, cross-functional work in matrixed organizations
* Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders
* International or global business experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree (MBA or similar)
* Experience in coffee, beverage, food, or premium consumer goods
* Proven ability to lead portfolio-level work across markets and channels
* Experience in brand, category management or similar functions, ideally in the retail or foodservice industry
* Proven experience in leading large-scale, enterprise-wide projects ideally within the supply chain, sustainability and/or high-risk commodity space
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, strength in problem-solving, solutioning effectively through ambiguity
* Experience of working across organizational boundaries at all levels, including high-visibility, executive-level
* International business experience
* Excels in written and oral communication
* 5-10 years of experience in strategic planning, or management consulting

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
