Responsibilities

→Provide continuous observation and ensure the safety of patients in a behavioral health setting
→Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, and mobility
→Support and monitor patients during group activities, therapy sessions, and recreational programs
→Observe, document, and report patient behaviors, mood changes, and safety concerns to nursing staff
→Implement de-escalation techniques and assist in crisis intervention as needed
→Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility policies
→Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
→Follow all safety protocols, including suicide and elopement precautions
→Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
