SteerBridge Strategies is seeking an Operations Oversight Junior Engineer to support a large-scale Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. This role supports operational execution across the program through coordination, analysis, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution support. The selected candidate will work across technical and non-technical teams to help maintain continuity of program activities, support leadership visibility, and advance modernization objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with technical and functional teams to support program objectives and operational execution
  • Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and support mitigation activities
  • Prepare reports, documentation, status updates, and leadership briefings
  • Support stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration efforts
  • Maintain tracking of tasks, action items, milestones, and project progress
  • Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution across assigned operational domains
  • Support program continuity and timely execution of modernization activities
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensure documentation and reporting standards are maintained across program activities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare IT, Business, or related field
  • Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to analyze information and support operational decision-making
  • Experience creating documentation, reports, and status tracking materials
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project/task tracking tools
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to support onsite collaboration in Arlington, VA
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 25% (approximately twice monthly)
  • Ability to pass applicable federal background requirements
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience supporting federal government or enterprise-level programs
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems or healthcare IT environments
  • Background supporting cybersecurity, testing, operations, data, or technical program efforts
  • Experience supporting modernization or transformation initiatives
  • Prior experience supporting federal healthcare modernization programs or EHRM efforts
