Description

 The Le Méridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and service-oriented individual for the position of Bartender to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The Le Méridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is a 605-room dual-branded property with 65,000 square feet of meeting and conference space.

The ideal candidate will have three to six months of related experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• →Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• →Take beverage and food orders while providing exceptional guest service.
• →Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly.
• →Process payments accurately using the POS system.
• →Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• →Set up and break down the bar before and after each shift.
• →Report guest concerns and inventory needs to management.
• →Follow all company policies and food, beverage, health, and safety regulations.
• →Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.

 Part-Time: AM & PM Shifts Available

Requirements

• →Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
• →Must know applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
• →High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required. 
• →Ability to obtain required licenses and certificates.
• →CPR training and first aid training preferred.
• →Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• →Additional language ability preferred.
