Senior Registrar

Saint Joseph's Medical Center is looking for a Senior Registrar for our Family Health Center. Will perform a variety of secretarial, clerical, and receptionist duties to support the daily operations of the Clinic. Involves frequent patient interactions and requires professionalism, discretion, and compassion. Extensive knowledge of insurance and managed care industry required. Must be able to work with multiple systems. Produce monthly reports/stats and works on provider template/staff schedules. Works independently, sets priorities, maintains order at front desk and supports all registrar duties as needed by answering phones, and routing calls appropriately. Informs and assist in the processing of the Hospital Financial Assistance Application in accordance with policy standards. Actively works on the maintenance of Worklists in the EMR. Helps maintain patient flow, tracks any problems at front desks and reports to the Operations Manager. Covers off sites as necessary/scheduled.
