What You'll Do:

Build Backend and Agentic AI Services

Implement and evolve backend services and agentic systems that support content right holder workflows, automation, and intelligent decision-making.
Enable AI-Powered Workflows - Integrate AI-driven capabilities, such as automated validation, diagnostics, recommendations, or guided workflows through backend services and supporting APIs.

Continuously improving our Platform

Work with Distributed and Data-Driven Systems - Contribute to services that handle data ingestion, synchronization, and processing at scale, with a focus on correctness and resilience.
Translate Product Requirements into End-to-End Functionality - Convert product concepts into working systems, collaborating across frontend and backend boundaries to deliver cohesive features.
Ensure Reliability and Operability - Build systems that are observable, debuggable, and resilient, and help improve how the platform behaves in real-world conditions.

Exposure to AI-Driven User Experiences - Hands-on experience building real-world products that integrate and present AI-powered functionality.
Meaningful Product Impact - Direct influence on a platform that changes how content right holders distribute inventory into StubHub’s marketplace.
Collaborative Engineering Environment - Work alongside software engineers of varying experience levels in a team that values thoughtful execution and shared ownership.
Continuous Feedback and Development - A culture centered on regular, constructive feedback to help engineers refine technical skills and product judgment over time.

Responsibilities

→Software Engineer with ~3-4 of experience building production software, with a strong emphasis on frontend or full-stack development
→Backend Engineering Proficiency - Experience with at least one backend programming language (Java, Python, Golang) and have experience building or consuming APIs.
→Exposure to AI or Agentic Systems - Familiarity with integrating AI-powered services, automation, or agent-like workflows, or strong interest in learning and applying these patterns.
→Systems and Data Mindset - Have an understanding of how data flows through services and how design decisions affect performance, reliability, and user experience.
