Course Editors play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our credit-recommended college courses. This project aims to enhance and update college-level courses to ensure they meet current academic standards and industry requirements. This is an online, remote contract role. All work is paid hourly at $15/hour.

Project Description

You will review and edit existing college-level Criminal Justice course structure and materials. This is expected to include tasks such as (but not limited to):

Evaluating and adjusting recommended updates to existing course structure
Reviewing course learning outcomes and competencies for accuracy and alignment
Editing skill-oriented course sections and ensuring proper organization
Reviewing and refining response assignment prompts and rubrics
Evaluating existing multiple choice questions for quality and accuracy

Master's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Forensic Science, Public Safety, or a closely related field
Experience teaching Criminal Justice courses in a college or university setting
Experience creating, updating, or revising courses at a college or university level
Strong working knowledge of the U.S. criminal justice system, including law enforcement, courts, and corrections

Nice to Have

Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to revise submitted work as needed
Ability to collaborate with curriculum designers to create high-quality course deliverables

Master’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Forensic Science, Public Safety, or a closely related field

2+ years of experience teaching courses in a college or university setting
