Job Summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is actively seeking experienced Data Center Electrical Foremen to support electrical construction projects across Arizona and throughout the United States. If you have a proven track record leading electrical crews on large-scale data center, industrial, or commercial projects and are looking to be part of one of the fastest-growing sectors in construction, we want to hear from you.

The Data Center Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading field crews, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. This role serves as a key link between field operations and project management, helping deliver complex projects on schedule and with exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew, project team, customers, and trade partners.

• Produce high-quality work safely and productively at all times.

• Lead and supervise electrical crews on data center construction projects.

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily work activities to maximize productivity and support project schedules.

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and installation details to ensure quality execution.

• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractor activities within assigned work areas.

• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.

• Track production, workforce needs, and project progress while communicating updates to project leadership.

• Mentor apprentices and journeymen while helping develop future field leaders.

• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 8 years of electrical construction experience.

• Previous experience leading crews as a Foreman, Leadman, or similar field leadership role.

• Experience on data center, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial electrical projects preferred.

• Strong understanding of NEC requirements, electrical systems, and construction best practices.

• Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.

• Experience coordinating work with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades.

• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide as project needs require.

Physical Requirements

• Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.

• Will climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts.

• Will lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.

• Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects on a frequent basis.

• Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.

• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.

• May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis.

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, and safety vest).

• Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.

• Ability to work at heights, in lifts, and in active construction environments.

Additional Job Information

• Hiring for active data center construction projects nationwide.

• Initial project assignment is anticipated to be approximately 2 years in duration.

• Paid flights home once per month.

• Per diem of $178 per day, 7 days per week while assigned to qualifying travel projects.
