We’re hiring a Business Analyst in Dusseldorf
Looking to join a company that's making a difference? Sunrock delivers clean energy to more than 636.000 people and has more than 1 GWp in development, with even bigger plans for the future. As our new Business Analyst in Dusseldorf, you'll be part of a team of over 150 Sunrockers who are committed to expanding sustainable energy solutions throughout Europe.
The Energy Contracting team
Energy Contracting at Sunrock is centrally organized from our headquarters in Amsterdam, with strong support from our local offices in Paris and Dusseldorf. Our German portfolio continues to grow in size and complexity and to support this growth, we are looking for a Business Analyst Energy Contracting who strengthens local ownership in Germany, positioned between Finance and Operations and working closely with our central Energy Contracting team.
In this role, you ensure that German energy contracts and revenues (approx. 10M EUR in 2026 and growing rapidly) are well understood, correctly managed and actively optimized. You take ownership of contract administration, revenue follow‑up, contract interpretation and reporting, and support contract (re)negotiations with clear, fact‑based insights. You also contribute to building scalable systems and ways of working that can be used across countries and provide input to product development based on German market and contract experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an environment where not everything is fully set up yet and who is motivated to create structure, clarity, and ownership while the organization grows.
Overview of the role
As a Business Analyst you will be the linking pin between different departments. Your responsibilities will be:
Act as the local Energy Contracting counterpart in Germany, positioned between Finance and Operations.
Manage and administer German energy contracts, including contract registration and changes.
Follow up on revenue administration, including invoice mismatches with counterparties.
Interpret contract structures and revenue mechanics and translate these into input for budgeting and forecasting (in collaboration with Business Control).
Support contract (re)negotiations by analyzing existing aggregators and offtake contracts and clearly outlining pros, cons and trade‑offs.
Develop and maintain clear reporting on contract performance and revenues.
Contribute to building and improving scalable systems and processes that can be used internationally.
Provide input to product development based on German market and contract experience.
