The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative plays a key role in driving customer satisfaction and business growth by supporting industrial customers with fluid conveyance solutions. This position blends customer service, inside sales, and technical support in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to customers—understanding their needs, delivering practical solutions, and ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry through delivery. Success requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Sell industrial hose, gasket, and piping products while maintaining and growing customer accounts
Process inbound orders via phone, email, and online systems
Enter and manage orders and quotes within the company’s ERP system
Highlight product features and benefits, provide pricing, and prepare sales orders
Estimate delivery timelines based on production schedules and inventory availability
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database
Partner with account managers to ensure account activity and follow-up actions are current
Conduct outbound prospecting to identify new business opportunities and promote value-added services
Investigate and resolve customer issues related to orders, shipments, and deliveries
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution or manufacturing
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Knowledge of industrial or hydraulic hose, gasket, or fluid conveyance products is a plus
