Promote assigned product lines to both our customers and within the organization. Serves as primary resource for assigned product lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Have experience sizing and commissioning VFD and Servo Motion Control Systems
- Size Gearbox and Gearmotors for systems based on customer input values
- Present new motion control technologies at customer locations or workshops
- Understand all Mechatronic components in an Electrically controlled Motion System
- Develop marketing plan to grow Motion Control Product Sales
- Subject matter expert for Sales
- Conduct joint Sales calls on Motion Control Opportunities
- Support specific products across a defined territory by providing technical advice and pre-selection support.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and apply appropriate pricing.
- Provide technical support for internal and on-site customers.
- Calls on prospects or customers for sales of product lines assigned.
- Assists sales group in their efforts at strategic accounts.
- Assists sales through training, sales calls, and product selection.
- Takes sales responsibility for unassigned accounts.
- Coordinates joint sales calls with manufacturer and Electro-Matic personnel.
- Develops and maintains relationships with product line vendors.
- Ensures seminars, training and product related events are executed.
- Supports marketing efforts and sales goals as directed by product line manager.
- Develops product knowledge and an understanding of the competitive market.
- Keeps sales group informed on new and updated products.
- Attends product training classes for products presented by respective manufacturer.
- Participates in manufacturer events, such as distributor meetings, advisory councils, etc.,
- Works with Customer Service Representatives to facilitate customer requirements.
- Participates in the generation of the product sales planning function.

Technical Associate degree, or
The position is an indoor office and warehouse setting with moderate noise levels including voices, office equipment, and foot traffic sounds. Employee may interact with customers, sales representatives, and other internal departments.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to:
Occasional out-of-town travel required. Travel may include overnight stays, weekend assignments, and international opportunities.
