We are looking for someone who:

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting;
Proficient use of MS Office applications;
Proactive with a collaborative team spirit;
Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks;
Strong analytical thinking and a systematic approach to problem-solving;
This role requires excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

→Independently manage and control the general ledger;
→Reconcile general ledger accounts with analytical records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, fixed assets, and travel orders;
→Prepare, control, submit, and reconcile tax records and all monthly tax returns (e.g., VAT, VAT-S, VAT-ZP) to the tax authorities;
→Ensure accurate and timely filing of all required tax documents;
→Calculate and record depreciation, interest, foreign exchange differences, and accruals;
→Monitor and apply laws and regulations in the fields of accounting, finance, and taxation;
→Participate in the preparation of reports according to management instructions and needs;
→Prepare various reports for the Croatian National Bank (HNB), the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS), and other regulatory bodies;
→Perform regular reconciliations with customers and suppliers;
→Assist with other operational tasks within the accounting and finance department as needed.
