  • Position:  Dangerous Goods Processor
  • Shift:1ST shift 6am-2pm Monday-Friday  
  • Pay:  $20.50  per hour. 
  • Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify for monthly attendance bonuses

Role Purpose:

 

Responsible for safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders according to Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods handling SOP’s and regulations. Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or hand held computer. Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order. Assists the Materials Transport Compliance Specialist in the picking, packing, and shipping of Dangerous Goods.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Pick customer orders or shipment efficiently, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Picks, packs and processes packages of Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods for shipment.
  • Count product inventory by location accurately.
  • Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing powered or non-powered material handling equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer requirements, quality assurance policies and  procedures in the handling of Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.

 

Required Education and Experience:

 

  • 1 year or more experience in a warehouse setting
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
  • Prior experience handling/shipping of Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods, preferred
