We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the position of:
The Scheduling Analyst will lead a team focused on the development and analysis of Caribbean Airlines’ schedules in alignment with corporate objectives. The role is responsible for ensuring commercial viability, enhancing operational reliability and timeliness, and supporting schedule production through forecasts, block hour and flight time analysis, cycles, aircraft utilisation, and route network optimisation. The incumbent will coordinate traffic programmes for scheduled and non-scheduled services, including charters, aircraft positioning, rerouting and retiming of flights, while maintaining accurate schedule change records and slot records at controlled airports. The role also represents Caribbean Airlines in slot negotiation and coordination with relevant authorities and works closely with senior managers to develop and implement interdepartmental strategies through quantitative analysis of passenger demand, aircraft utilisation and schedule integrity.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent education in relevant courses offered by accredited airline institutions.
- A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in schedule planning, including developing plans and procedures and commercial schedules.
- Extensive understanding of slot coordination procedures and schedule planning software.
- Knowledge of schedule data transmission and updates.
- Established proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- IATA certification in Network, Fleet and Schedule Planning and Slot Coordination.
- Strong analytical, research, communication, negotiation, leadership, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage, develop and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support the aims and vision of the Commercial Division.
- Leadership and Team Development: Ability to guide, coach and motivate direct reports while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrates sound judgement, critical thinking and strong problem-solving capability when interpreting schedule, operational and commercial data.
