Localization Team Lead

The Content Team is the creative force behind Surfshark’s written communication — from blog posts, landing pages, emails, and ads to localized content across multiple languages and markets. Made up of editors, copywriters, localization project managers, and language owners, our team ensures that Surfshark’s voice stays impactful, culturally relevant, and consistent in every language.

• Lead a team of Localization Project Managers and Language Owners, while staying hands-on when needed;

• Build and scale localization workflows, tools, and processes to support a global product;

• Ensure linguistic quality, cultural relevance, and brand consistency across all localized content;

• Shape and drive localization strategies that support product, marketing, and business goals;

• Stay up to date with industry trends and actively explore new approaches to improve efficiency and quality, including AI and automation.

• Experience working in an in-house localization team, ideally in a leadership role;

• Data-driven mindset with a proven track record of creating and using performance dashboards;

• Solid knowledge of localization workflows, CAT tools, and translation management systems integrated directly into an agile software development environment;

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills;

• Ability to manage multiple priorities across different projects.

• Have experience with AI-assisted localization workflows and automation.
