Role Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), Media to take a lead role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our media backend and frontend components. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive a shift-left testing mindset across the organization.
As a technical leader, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of the Media Test Strategy, ensuring efficient test coverage, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality media features. Your expertise in media technologies (WebRTC, SIP), strong programming background, and ability to coordinate across teams will make you a key player in building scalable and reliable media solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the quality strategy for media backend and frontend components.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to drive shift-left testing practices.
- Support and improve automated testing across different environments, including VDI, Cloud (GCP/AWS), and Windows 10/11 setups.
- Validate and troubleshoot real-time communication systems (WebRTC, SIP).
- Perform code reviews, mentor other SDETs, and ensure adherence to testing best practices.
- Coordinate with multiple teams and products to ensure seamless integration and quality delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Support the execution and evolution of the Media Test Strategy.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills in at least one language: Java, C#, C++, or TypeScript (C# is preferable).
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with media technologies (WebRTC, SIP).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP/AWS) and VDI setups.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern testing tools.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and shift-left practices.

- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or SDET roles, with at least 2+ years in a senior/lead capacity.
- Previous experience working in media-focused environments is highly desirable.
