Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our legal team. In this role, you will assist in a wide range of legal tasks, including conducting research, drafting documents, reviewing contracts, and supporting the legal department in day-to-day operations. This internship will provide valuable exposure to corporate law, contract management, compliance, and more.

This is an in-person role.

Assist in conducting legal research on various topics

Help draft, review, and revise legal documents, including contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and internal policies

Assist in reviewing and summarizing contracts and other legal documents for key terms, risks, and compliance issues

Assist in maintaining and organizing legal files, records, and documents

Help prepare presentations and reports for internal teams or external stakeholderS

Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed

Gain hands-on experience in corporate law, contracts, compliance, and other legal areas.

Develop research and drafting skills while working on real-world legal matters.

Exposure to the internal workings of a corporate legal department.

Learn how legal teams collaborate with business units to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

Networking opportunities with legal professionals and insights into the practice of law in a corporate setting.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field OR currently pursuing a J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree or equivalent law degree at an accredited law school.

Understanding of legal principles, research methods, and procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous legal internship or coursework related to corporate law, compliance, or intellectual property is a plus but not required.
