About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to drive data-informed product decisions by turning complex data into actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and UX teams to measure impact, run experiments, and improve product performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with stakeholders across engineering, product, and UX teams to drive product decisions.
2. Manipulate and translate big data into key insights to assist the development of relevant, impactful, and measurable actions.
3. Design experiments and A/B testing that will enable feature teams to make effective product decisions, and help teams evaluate the results of these experiments.
4. Build dynamic dashboards and visual aids to monitor platform activity and performance.
5. Collaborate closely with product teams to understand and implement data requirements.
6. Create data-driven product solutions for the product team leveraging shallow machine learning models.

Required skills :

1. Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.
2. Expertise in Python for data analysis and manipulation.
3. Strong understanding of experimental design, statistical significance, and hypothesis testing.
4. Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
5. Strong foundation in statistics, including probability, distributions, and inferential statistics.
6. Knowledge of shallow machine learning models (e.g., linear regression, logistic regression, k-means) and familiarity with machine learning libraries.
7. Proficiency in visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and building dynamic dashboards.
8. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
9. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
10. Aptitude for identifying key issues and developing data-driven solutions.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
12. Knowledge of product management and user experience principles to align data insights with business goals.

Extra skills:

1. Experience with DBT and Airflow.
2. Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
3. Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake).
4. Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
5. Experience in the e-commerce industry.
