At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses. The Material Handler I is responsible for an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Receive, sort, store, and organize materials in accordance with Warehouse Management standards, including placement on racks, shelves, bins, and designated warehouse locations
- →Maintain accurate inventory controls by processing stock location orders, recording materials received or distributed, supporting cycle counts/physical inventory, and ensuring required documentation is complete
- →Support shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, pulling materials, packing orders, and staging completed orders for delivery
- →Follow established procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations, including HIPAA compliance, and escalate problems or quality concerns that may impact product quality or process flow
- →Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment using 5S practices, including keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat and orderly
- →Collaborate with team members to support smooth production flow, adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds from floor to table
- Ability to stand for 2-3 hour blocks
- Comfortable working on computers, especially Microsoft Outlook. Navigating ERP and QMS systems.
