takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Commercial Partnership Manager Cross-Boarder to join our team in Cape Town.
We are a young, dynamic, hyper growth company looking for smart, creative and hard-working people with integrity to join us. We offer a market related Total Remuneration Package, which allows full flexibility according to your needs, a great work environment and a promise that you won’t be bored, as long as you are prepared for a challenge and want to build something great.
The Aggregator Partnerships Manager is responsible for building, formalising, and scaling Takealot's relationships with aggregator platforms — the intermediary service providers that help identify and source international sellers and help them to navigate the catalogue creation, payments, currency conversion, South African regulatory compliance, and logistics when selling on the Takealot marketplace. This role exists because aggregators represent the single highest-leverage channel for acquiring large cohorts of pre-qualified international sellers at scale, and structured partnership agreements unlock seller pipelines that would otherwise be inaccessible through direct outreach alone. The Manager must combine commercial partnership skills with a deep understanding of cross-border e-commerce mechanics and the South African regulatory environment.
