• →Ensure all fleet vehicles are regularly inspected, maintained, and compliant with national road safety standards and regulations 
• →Enforce a comprehensive vehicle inspection program, covering pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• →Oversee the day-to-day management of the fleet, including vehicle allocation, tracking, and maintenance schedules
• →Track and manage vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service records to ensure minimal downtime and optimal vehicle performance
• →Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures
• →training, monitoring, and performance evaluation to enhance driver safety and efficiency.
• →It is required of you to work until your daily responsibilities are completed, which might result in you working longer than normally
• →Capturing of delivery teams hours and ensure accruals are sent on to management
• →Contribute to cost-saving initiatives by optimizing fleet operations, including fuel management, route planning, and vehicle utilization 
• →Manage daily staff and overtime efficiently to ensure labour cost is controlled
• →Extracts data and generates reports which will assist in performance tracking and decision making.
• →All administrative documentation is labelled and filed as per procedures.
• →All daily, weekly and monthly reports/ meeting minutes are up to date 
• →KPI reports sent out timeously daily and are posted on notice boards
• →Ensure 5S housekeeping standards are implemented and maintained
• →Implement and maintain health and safety standards
• →Ensure the team complies to COVID19 protocols

• Minimum of Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification preferred

• Strong leadership capabilities
