Accounting Manager- Remote

ProfitSolv is a SaaS business services provider for the legal and accounting industry. We are looking for a Accounting Manager to join our growing team!  

The Accounting Manager will oversee a wide range of accounting functions to ensure financial information is accurate, reliable, and delivered on time in compliance with U.S. GAAP. The role plays a key part in the financial reporting cycle, including managing the monthly close process, consolidating financial results, and preparing both internal and external reporting deliverables for management, our private equity sponsor, and our lenders.

As a Accounting Manager, you will: 

• Lead and manage assigned portions of the month-end close process to ensure deadlines are met and results are accurate.
• Review and approve journal entries along with supporting documentation.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances or unusual activity, and partner with the VP of Finance/Controller to resolve issues.
• Oversee completion of account reconciliations in accordance with internal control requirements.
• Prepare and review consolidated monthly financial statements, management reports, and related schedules.
• Support the preparation of schedules and disclosures for audit, lender, and investor reporting requirements.
• Present and explain financial results to VP of Finance/Controller.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and process improvements.
• Act as a key point of contact for Corporate Accounting on projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to meet reporting and compliance objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

This position follows established policies and procedures to keep confidential information secure. 

A great fit for this position has: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA required.
• 4-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a blend of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and industry experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to research and apply accounting guidance.
• Experience with month-end close, consolidations, and multi-entity reporting environments.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in data analysis and modeling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
