Purpose of the Role
Telesat is seeking an accomplished Director, Corporate Communications to elevate the company’s global reputation, broaden awareness of our brand, and strengthen engagement with key audiences. This leader will oversee internal and external communications (excluding investor relations) strategy and execution, media relations, thought leadership, and narrative development across the company.
This is a high-impact role that partners with senior executives and business leaders. This individual will play a central role in telling the Telesat story on a global stage—developing compelling content, securing earned media, and helping to ensure employees across all regions are aligned, informed, and inspired.
Shape and protect Telesat’s corporate narrative, ensuring consistency across all communications channels.
Cultivate strong relationships with journalists covering aerospace, telecommunications, technology, maritime and government sectors.
