Temporal's Global Events & Field Marketing team is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Field Marketing Lead to define and lead the global field marketing strategy across AMER, EMEA, and APJ. This role provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and mentorship to the regional field marketing teams while driving a consistent, high-impact approach to events and field marketing worldwide.
This is a highly collaborative, player-coach role that blends global leadership with hands-on execution. In addition to owning the global field marketing strategy and leading the regional field marketing teams, this person will serve as the AMER field marketing lead, partnering closely with the North America team to develop and execute regional events, executive experiences, and marquee industry trade shows. They will personally lead the planning and execution of Temporal's largest tentpole events, overseeing the company's end-to-end event presence and ensuring every experience delivers exceptional customer engagement and measurable business impact.
Reporting to the Global Lead, Events & Field Marketing, this role partners closely with sales leadership across new logo, growth, and commercial segments to build integrated programs that drive measurable pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth. Success in this role requires close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Developer Relations, Product Marketing, and Executive Leadership to create scalable, best-in-class field marketing programs while establishing consistency, operational excellence, and shared best practices across all regions.
Responsibilities

- →Program Development & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of North America field marketing programs, including industry conferences, executive dinners and experiences, workshops, partner events, and regional events.
- →Marquee Trade Show Leadership: Own the end-to-end planning and execution of Temporal's marquee industry trade shows and tentpole events, overseeing every aspect of the company's presence; from sponsorship strategy and booth experience to executive programming, onsite execution, customer engagement, and post-event reporting.
- →Sales Partnership: Partner directly with North America sales leadership across new logo, growth, and commercial segments to develop programs that generate pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and drive revenue outcomes.
- →Campaign Integration: Build integrated event campaigns in partnership with Demand Generation, Sales, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations, including pre-event engagement and post-event follow-up strategies.
- →Budget & Investment Management: Manage the regional events budgets, including forecasting, and program ROI.
- →Regional Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight for the field marketing teams across EMEA, APJ, and AMER, ensuring alignment to the global strategy while allowing flexibility for regional market needs.
- →Global Program Alignment: Establish and maintain global field marketing frameworks, planning processes, reporting standards, and best practices that drive consistency and operational excellence across regions.
- →Performance Management: Conduct regular business reviews with regional field marketers to evaluate program performance, share best practices, and optimize investments across regions.
- →Vendor Management: Lead vendor relationships, including sourcing, statement-of-work development, negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluation.
- →Analytics & Measurement: Define and track event KPIs, including attendance, engagement, pipeline generation, opportunity acceleration, influenced revenue, and overall program ROI.
- →Executive Communication: Present program performance, strategic recommendations, and investment plans to executive stakeholders while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Executive Leadership to maximize business impact.
- 10+ years of experience in field marketing, events marketing, or integrated marketing within B2B SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, developer tools, or enterprise technology organizations.
- 4+ years of people management experience, including leading distributed teams or managing regional marketers.
- Proven success building and executing field marketing strategies that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Deep experience managing conferences, trade shows, executive events, customer events, and field programs from strategy through execution.
- Strong understanding of sales-led marketing motions, including account-based marketing and pipeline development.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, budgets, and timelines simultaneously.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across sales, marketing, partnerships, developer relations, and executive teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring program effectiveness and making data-driven investment decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, event technology platforms, and marketing reporting tools is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities and ambitious goals.
- Lead with a global mindset, balancing regional autonomy with organizational consistency.
- Build strong partnerships across Sales and Marketing while serving as a trusted strategic advisor.
- Operate with high ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Coach and develop regional field marketers while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, measurement, and innovation.
Approximately 30-50% travel, with heavier travel during peak event seasons and as required to support global team alignment and key event programs.
