Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
- →Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
- →Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.
Requirements
~1 min read- Must be a licensed LVN in good standing with the state (as required)
- 1-2 years wound care experience required
- Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred
- 1+ years of long term care experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
