The Inventory Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end oversight of all inventory functions across cannabis products and non-cannabis consumables. This position is critical in safeguarding the organization’s compliance, financial integrity, and operational efficiency. The Inventory Manager serves as the site’s subject matter expert in SOX compliance, Metrc inventory tracking, and ERP, ensuring flawless execution in a highly regulated environment. 
  • ​​Own accountability for SOX compliance and state cannabis regulatory adherence across all inventory functions. 
  • ​Lead audit readiness and interface with internal/external auditors, ensuring fully traceable and auditable records. 
  • ​Develop and enforce enterprise-level inventory policies and controls to mitigate financial and regulatory risk. 
  • ​Provide executive-level visibility into inventory performance through advanced reporting, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis. 
  • ​Leverage Metrc and ERP systems to ensure data accuracy, transparency, and real-time decision-making. 
  • ​Align inventory operations with corporate growth initiatives, including expansion projects, white-label partnerships, and portfolio innovation. 
  • ​Collaborate closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure accurate costing, forecasting, and alignment with production schedules. 
  • ​Collaborate closely with Procurement and Operations to ensure consistent stock rates for all non-cannabis inventory for uninterrupted production 
  • ​Partner with compliance and legal teams to proactively address evolving regulations. 
  • ​Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on inventory-related risk, cost management, and scalability. 
  • ​Lead, mentor, and develop internal team, with an emphasis on accountability, compliance, and professional growth. 
  • ​Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. 
  • ​Adoption of best practices across the inventory function to support long-term scalability. 
  • ​Work flexible shifts as needed to support critical production tasks.​ 
  • Other duties as assigned.  
  • ​​Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred 
  • ​5+ years of progressive inventory or supply chain leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a regulated industry (cannabis experience strongly preferred). 
  • ​Strong mathematical skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide various units of measure.  
  • ​Proficient in computer programs including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and e-mail. 
  • ​Deep knowledge of SOX compliance, cannabis state regulatory requirements, Metrc, and ERP systems. 
  • ​Exceptional financial and analytical acumen, with advanced Excel and reporting skills. 
  • ​Demonstrated success leading a team in a compliance-driven environment. 
  • ​Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment. 
  • ​Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, team-oriented environment. 
  • ​Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing. 
  • ​Ability to read, interpret, and apply information obtained from manuals, data sheets, or other documents. 
  • ​Must satisfy the minimum age criteria mandated by applicable state cannabis regulations for this role.​
