The Operations Administrator supports daily warehouse and distribution operations through data reporting, system administration, compliance management, and operational coordination. This role is responsible for maintaining operational reporting, administering RF-Smart and warehouse system requests and processes, and ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
The position plays a key role in improving operational visibility, supporting inventory accuracy, and maintaining process discipline across warehouse operations.
This position is on-site and can be based out of Reno, NV, Lewisville TX or Hunt Valley, MD.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports including:
- Inventory accuracy metrics
- Order fulfillment performance
- Receiving and shipping productivity
- Cycle count results and discrepancies
- Backorders and open orders
- Maintain operational dashboards and KPI reports for warehouse leadership.
- Build and maintain NetSuite saved searches and operational reporting tools.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.
- Assist leadership with ad-hoc reporting and operational analysis.
- Serve as the primary RF-Smart administrator for warehouse operations.
- Manage RF-Smart system configuration
- Troubleshoot RF-Smart issues
- Support RF device management including scanners and mobile hardware.
- Maintain RF-Smart operational documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in RF-Smart system enhancements, testing, and upgrades.
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff on RF-Smart processes.
- Support cycle counting programs and inventory control initiatives.
- Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies and adjustments.
- Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors to resolve transaction errors or system issues.
- Ensure warehouse transactions are properly processed in NetSuite and RF-Smart.
- Maintain compliance with company operational procedures and internal controls.
- Support adherence to warehouse safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain documentation for inventory control procedures, operational processes, and system workflows.
- Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure operational processes meet corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Track and maintain required operational documentation and records.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Support warehouse process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with implementation of new operational tools or workflows.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to improve data visibility and process consistency.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or supply chain administration.
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) required.
- Experience with RF-Smart and NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Work performed in both office and warehouse environments.
- Frequent interaction with warehouse staff and operational leadership.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs when working with RF devices or warehouse equipment.
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
