The Animal Cardiology Center (TACC) is a new, purpose-built standalone Cardiology specialty provider in Westchester County. Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Licensed Veterinary Technician at TACC is the beating heart of our practice. This role must be able to effectively lead and supervise by being organized, professional at all times, be an efficient communicator, and work well with veterinarians and other team members, both clinical and administrative. The position is essential in ensuring accurate, efficient and timely completion of daily clinical duties and responsibilities. The Tech also facilitates the flow of communication between doctors, the practice manager and clinical team members. This position also performs all of the duties of a licensed veterinary technician.
In addition to traditional Veterinary Technician duties, you will participate in:
- →Advanced history taking
- →Advanced imaging, including Echocardiograms
- →Conducting physical examinations and patient assessments
- →Rounding with the doctor on cases using learned cardiology knowledge
- →Providing consistently compassionate care for our patients
- →Interested LVTs may have the opportunity to train under the Cardiologist and join the mobile TACC team.
- Licensed in NY State
- 2+ years’ experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in GP, Emergency or Specialty
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong people and organizational skills
- Ability to resolve conflict
- Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college or university
Requirements

- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Capable of moving patients from carrier/floor to exam table
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
