Responsibilities

  • Position Build & Coding
    • Build, establish, and maintain civilian position records within authorized personnel systems.
    • Input and verify standard Personnel Action Request (PAR/SF-52) data elements including Series, Title, Grade, Pay Plan, Bargaining Unit Status (BUS) codes, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) designations, and Cyber/Security codes.
    • Align position builds with approved organizational structures (TDA, UTO, Joint Manpower Program).
    • Verify organization codes, UIC/PAS codes, cost centers, and supervisory ratios.
    • Update organizational hierarchies following restructuring, realignments, or command-directed changes.
  • Quality Control & Compliance
    • Review position request packages for completeness, proper authorization signatures, and manpower approval prior to system entry.
    • Identify and resolve system errors, duplicate records, or mismatched coding prior to recruitment release.
    • Ensure compliance with DoD instructions, OPM guidelines, and local servicing agreements.
  • Data Management & Reporting
    • Enter, update, and validate HR data within systems such as DCPDS and related platforms.
    • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure data accuracy and completeness
    • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and reports to monitor HR actions and workflow status.
    • Support data calls and reporting requirements with accurate and timely information.

Requirements

  • Clearance:
    • Active Secret Clearance required
  • Education and Certifications:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Required Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supporting federal HR operations, including staffing, onboarding, or HR administrative support
    • Experience working within a federal agency or supporting DoD/OSW HR environments preferred
  • Required Skill and Competencies
    • Knowledge of federal HR processes, including recruitment, staffing, onboarding, and position classification support
    • Familiarity with HR systems such as DCPDS (or equivalent federal HRIS platforms)
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate documentation for accuracy and completeness
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for tracking and reporting
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
    • Organizational skills with the ability to maintain structured records and documentation
Position Pay Range
$75,000$95,000 USD
