About the Role

The Gersh Agency is hiring a position that will support the mailroom in NYC. We are looking for a highly motivated, and detail-oriente Next d Floater to work closely with agents and assistants in multiple departments. Primary responsibilities include assisting with office administration and facilitating all processes, from start to finish, regarding client submissions, resume updates, and more. The ideal candidate has an interest in learning the business, and is able to juggle constantly changing priorities, provide administrative support in a high-pressure environment, work well within a team and has a passion for all things in the entertainment sphere. This role will be floating and requires strong attention to detail.

  • Learning and mastering the Gersh phone/database system.
  • Covering Assistant desks and phones.
  • Reading/covering scripts for consideration and sending actor submissions.
  • Facilitating client processes, from start to finish, including but not limited to: updating resumes, filming auditions and reading with the client, clipping select scenes, and submitting client auditions.
  • Supporting the build out of client materials on request, such as talent reels.
  • Assisting talent in writing pitches for outreach support.
  • Providing administrative support, including calendar management and travel.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous internships or work experience at an entertainment or management company, in a professional office setting.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, highly organized, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree.
