Barista

The Hot Box Sauna is Ireland’s leading sauna and wellness experience, offering a unique blend of relaxation, community, and wellbeing. With multiple thriving locations, we are expanding fast and adding a brand-new café to our Cork sauna site. We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our team and deliver a high-quality café experience that complements our wellness offering.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about coffee, hospitality, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for customers.

• Deliver a warm, welcoming and friendly experience to all customers.

• Engage with customers to create a positive and relaxed café environment and turn them into regulars.

• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.

• Take orders efficiently and accurately using the POS system.

• Handle customer feedback and queries in a courteous manner.

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and beverages to brand standards.

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of light food offerings.

• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

• Ensure all food and beverages are served promptly.

• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the café.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all work areas, equipment, and seating areas.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures.

• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.

Friendly, reliable, and passionate about coffee and delivering excellent customer service. 

• Relevant hospitality experience, ideally working in a high-quality or specialty coffee environment.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Proven track record of following food safety, hygiene, and standard operating procedures.

• Experience with POS.

• Right to work in Ireland without restrictions (Work Permit Sponsorship is not available).

• Ability to work flexible shifts Mon - Sun from the Victoria Road location in Cork.

Working hrs:         up to 39 hrs per week, shift work

Salary:                   €14.50 hourly rate
