- →Actively contribute to a Safety First culture by championing and enforcing all safety-related initiatives.
- →Work with the HR Manager and hiring managers to identify upcoming talent needs and proactively develop sourcing plans.
- →Assist in the development of overall recruitment strategies.
- →Configure and maintain the ATS for all assigned roles.
- →Perform job and task analyses to document job requirements and objectives.
- →Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs across appropriate platforms (job boards, educational institutions, industry associations, etc.).
- →Promote employment brand through social media engagement and responsiveness.
- →Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the role, industry standards, and organizational needs.
- →Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
- →Schedule interviews and oversee preparation of interview questions and materials.
- →Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience based on role requirements.
- →Assist with the interview process by attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and stakeholders.
- →Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners during the offer process, including salary recommendations and start‑date coordination.
- →Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment legislation and internal company policies.
- →Provide analytical, well‑documented recruiting reports to the HR team.
- →Build meaningful and influential candidate relationships throughout the selection process.
- →Plan or attend recruitment and networking events to support Sutherland Group talent needs.
- →Promote the company’s reputation as an Employer of Choice.
- →Stay current on recruiting trends and make recommendations to improve recruitment programs.
- →Evaluate recruitment, selection, and onboarding effectiveness through 15/45/75‑day check‑ins.
- →Support the HR team on additional HR projects as needed.
